Okay, got an ID on Tree forum....These are Wild Persimmon saplings.. Should I keep them or not?

I would keep one or two, the fruit is delicious although very small, and the wildlife love them too.

There are about 10 saplings growing here.

Good, I'd keep as many as possible to ensure pollination if it's an American Persimmon (which it likely is) because it's dioecious, (male and female flowers are produced on separate trees) - http://www.ehow.com/info_8535614_do-persimmons-need-pollinated.html.

I am not cutting down any of these saplings for sure..My hubby loves for me to make cookies n jelly out of the fruit..
