CLOSED: type of plover?

Any idea as to the ID of this bird? That's the only picture that I got.

Maybe a Killdeer with a weird shadow on its belly? I can't imagine where a shadow would have come from though. Also, when I try reducing the contrast (reducing shadow) the blueish color on the belly doesn't change.

Yep, Killdeer. The grey on the belly is the shadow of its own wing.
