In April I was here in S. Calif. visiting my daughter. I had given her a B. Chesa brug. the year before and it was huge. I took a whole box of cuttings home from this plant and here it is two months later.

Brugmansia Chesa
Such a beauiful one, Patricia! Is this one from your own cross?
Thanks for posting this lovely, Patricia. I have one of Chesa's offspring that I am hoping will bloom this year. (Painted Lady x Chesa 2008 P. Watson)- Would be great if it looks like dad!!! Third year is the charm???
Gosh, remember when a double PINK brug sent us all aflutter! LOL. We were so very desperate for one. Times have changed. I actually read a post on one of the boards lamenting that all the person saw were double PINK brugs and they were sick of it. Not me!
I can't wait to see this one bloom in my yard, Patricia! You have so many great brugs! I am always so impressed by your most beautiful garden!

Patricia, tonight my hubby and I where sitting in the back yard admiring our plants. We where commenting on how nice the Chesa I bought from you is looking. Looks like it is setting a bunch of buds. I will let you know when it blooms, looks like a big flush coming.
Kell, you are just too kind to me. The rest of you should know that Kell loves exotic looking plants and my garden is more like a cottage garden lined in brugs. My bud Kell is my best gardening buddy so if she tells me she doesn't like a brug. I pay attention because she has probably more experience growing them than I do.
Brenda, I hope she blooms beautifully for you. I have a friend in Washington State that recently told me it is his wife's favorite brug. I know here in Calif. she handles our hot weather well, so I am hoping she does as well for you. I sent out many cuttings of this brug. but have only heard back from a few as to how she has bloomed for them.
Oh Patricia, you are the one so kind! And the one most knowledgeable!
Kisses and hugs!
