Veggie pests..?

My sister is veggie gardening for the first time in Illinois, and she is finding some problems on some of her plants. This first pic is of her tomato plant leaf. I'm not too knowledgable of plant pests, so I was hoping someone here could enlighten us. Thanks!

Liberty Hill, TX(Zone 8a)

It looks like mite damage possibly Spider Mites. They love tomatoes and beans but will get on just about anything. You may try googling them to compare pictures.

Central, TX(Zone 8b)

There are tomato diseases that cause this "shot hole" effect when the dead tissue drops out and some nutritional disorders can result in leaf symptoms . Try this web site:
