Hi guys - I have not been posting anything for a while - winter here and well been busy with house stuff! LOL!
Anyway, I am putting all my photo's together on photobucket, mainly for the succulent collections, but decided to load my animal and bird pics as well. In the process I came across these masked thieves! Red-faced Mousebirds.
Bird scene
and taking sips, I guess to send it down!LOL They do have fun in fruit trees, usually after the fruit - the leaves where new to me.
The link to photobucket is: http://photobucket.com/Littlethings10
I have put some photo's of the cheetahs, lions etc on there and about a 100 pics so far of birds. It is a work in progress - and if you have a photobucket account, you can just link to this and see new additions as I add them. Not the greatest of pics - most of them, but hopefully I will upgrade to a better camera towards the end of the year and it will become better!!LOL!
Great shots Little! They are a very interesting looking bird!
I'll definitely check out your Photobucket account.
Thanks Pelle, there may be a few animal pics you might like..
Interesting, I wonder if they are related to our Waxwings? They wear mask and rob the fruit trees of their blooms too. lol
I will check out your Photobucket as well.
Such a pretty bird, but naughty. Hope your dad didn't mind too much.
I really enjoyed your photobucket shots, especially the cheetah and the vultures, but they're all just fantastic. Thanks for sharing them with us.
Wonderful albums. Loved your birds ,plants and wildlife.
oh, my dad was pretty unhappy, once I showed him. Luckily they rarely show up in fruit season - I guess there is some bigger fruit to steal as this is a young tree still. Glad you liked the pics - its nice to be able to put them together. I am still busy with the birdies - should finish towards the end of today with all the smaller birds. The numbers is based on SA system. It gives me a some basis to put like with like as well.
I have now added the last of the pics - last 2 pages - mostly small birds waxbills, etc. Unfortunately they are so difficult to pic but I have no idea when or if I will ever get to that part of the world again - 1800km from here, so I added what I had.
