Madeline this brug has such a sweet scent 20 ft away I can smell it and theres just a few blooms now.

I'm doing brugs for the first time this year. Have about 20 that I rooted and have potted up.

You are going to have fun with them if you want them to flower your going to have to feed them plenty. I give mine all kinds of stuff.

This was cutting from mother plant this spring Pink Velvet does excellent here in the heat. Cofusion was setting buds but with this heat there dropping

Dana, those are b-e-a-utiful!!!!! It doesn't look to be very tall either, is it? If you do some cuttings this fall, would you be a doll and put me down for a start? TYIA .... I love sweet smelling flowers! So sad about dropping buds. Another DG'er said hers was too. :-(

Some just don't do well in the high heat. If I am home during the day I water about 2;00 there dropping the new green stalks bend over hate to see it. Those cuttings were 4 fters this ones its second bloom cycle this year check out the big seed pods

Lovely Dana.... Madelne was one of the first to bloom here.. it's lovely scent was so welcome... I was aware missed the smell of my brugs... during the winter... perhaps more than I missed seeing the flowers..
I believe this is Taylor Dawn.. one of Gary's.. light almost lavender couored

Wow what a neat brug hows the scent? Almost lavender would be great!! Day Break is gearing up to put on a show just got home from flea market found a nice find a stained glass swag lamp with nice flowers and hummingbirds. Now where to put it :)
