June means the roses are blooming!
June in my Cottage Garden
Oh, Rita,
Just gorgeous!!!! I'm so jealous.
Wow.. I have come across quite a few of your posts and pictures of your yard.. and wow!! Your place is amazing!
Wow ~ they are beautiful!!!! I bet your neighbors love the view of your place :-)
Is that your house in the background of your first picture. It's beautiful and the perfect backdrop for a cottage garden. I love love love all your roses. Just amazing.
No, that house first picture is my neighbor. Just the top of my house shows in the last picture.
That house is even better!
You have a beautiful garden.
I'm enjoying your garden. Because of Japanese Beetles, I don't do roses, so although there's lots blooming in the garden, there's not much that's large blooming. No attention grabbers for a short period.
Can you tell us the name of the "little purple roses" in your last post ???
It is Veilchenblau, a once blooming (spring only) old garden rose.
Beautiful! I just love all the color in your garden. You have inspired me to buy a few more roses...
Oh Rita, everything is so beautiful! I'm admiring those Calif. poppies. This is the first year that I've grown them. One bunch is planted in the garage flowerbed and it's doing so nicely. I want to wintersow some more in 2012 to fill in. This week I plan to move two clumps from behind the rosebush that isn't doing that well. Don't know if they transplant well or not, but figure I'll just have to take a chance. What's gardening about? Trial and Errors and learning by doing.
Hi where can I find cherry blaze?? Your garden is beautiful !!!!!!!! Drooling....Sharon
I bought mine at a local nursery one spring.
