Could be a lot of things can't say for sure did you have any coneflowers near it ? looks very robust for any seedling
No coneflowers extremely close. The leaves are too close to the base of the plant to be coneflowers. I have several coneflower babies and know what those are.
I think it could be borage too or comfrey.
Hey just let it go and see what happens at the present time I am letting a vine grow in among my maters and it looks like a Black Eyed Susan vine which we had last year on the porch (A gift) and I read that it will self seed ..we shal see
Complete with a little weed! LOL I'm going to let it go and see what we get.
