Honey Bee Foundation

Hi, im new here and also to beekeeping, i bought a established hive and was wondering if i could reuse foundation from an older hive?

you can use old foundation, but make sure it wasn't contaminated with chalk brood, foul brood and that wax moths have not bored tunnels throughout.
