Marek's survivor, what now?

Pelzer, SC(Zone 7b)

Well, my little guy seems to be doing fine, and is trying to get out of his tub. It's getting to be time to return him to his flock. My thought is to bring in one of his hatchmates, and let them hang for a couple of days, and then put them back in the bunch together.

Any input?

Thanks:)

I think your plan sounds like a good one. Good job on getting him well.

He just wouldn't give up :) Not that I need another NN rooster, but, um, well, ya know....

if I understood what I read correctly he will now be immune to Mareks and any hen he breeds the off spring will be more resistant to it.
If you decide to get rid of a rooster be sure to keep him and get rid of the other one

Thanks all. Donna, he ain't agoin' nowhere. He's now my friend, even after all I did to him. I'm not at all sure he's immune, I had one that seemed to relapse after major stress, but he's still here, and that's enough for now. I'll be moving them all into their own place, so I'll wait to reintorduce until everyone goes.

Haystack, that's my job. I can't save all the critters, but I'll do my best. It sometimes gets me some odd reactions, but then, what do they know?
