Looking for "Peter Peppers"

Eaton, IN(Zone 5a)

I am looking for a variety of pepper that looks like a.... well, a tiny penis. A friend saw some on her trip to Misouri this fall. What a conversation piece!

Brugie, they don't sell them. I was wanting some too, DH collects different peppers, but can't find anything.

Breeze.....sorry about that address. I didn't go into the site far enough. This one will sell one plant for a good price....http://home.bluemarble.net/~chilewmn/chilesbyalph.html#P There are other places that you might check into by doing a search for the peppers. Hope this site helps.

Here's a similar thread. Pete2 raised them this year, and we got some good chuckles from her experience. Totally Tomatoes sells the seeds, and I think there's a hyperlink in the thread.

If I were to get a hold (hehehe) of one of these peppers, could I just let it dry out and have have viable seeds?

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Breeze, I think that would depend on whether it was near any other peppers when it was growing up. You might ask Melody or Byron for their opinion - they're much more advanced in their knowledge of peppers than I am. :)

Another option would be to order a packet and split it several ways - I'd like to have a few seeds, but I don't need a whole packet, and I bet there are others in the same situation.

I have a source, will post tonight!!!

I wouldn't mind having some if someone wants to split and share :o)

I think my neighbor grows them. He dissolves one Viagra in a quart of lukewarm water and sprinkles the plants when they first blossom. They stay firm for months and some of them can drive race cars while others are running for Congress!

chumly, not sure how many people are going to take you up on your offer, so for anyone left without, you can order a catalog (free) from this nice lady and she has two varieties of them, and several (lots) of others.

I planted some peter pepper seeds from a trade and they were nothing like the one I'd seen before. I'd like to share the cost of a purchased package with someone.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I'm ordering from the company I mentioned above. they are 1.50 per pack. If anyone wants in with me, email me.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I will order from here next Saturday morning (10-20). If anyone else wants to go in with me, please let me know asap.

Westland, MI(Zone 5a)

Peter Peppers are available in red or yellow for $2.00 for 20 seeds. I planted them and they "popped" up within 7 days. Now my little guys are growing happily. I smile everytime i walk past the little fella's, 'cause I know what's coming.

The boys I got, came from here....hope this helps
