I love my MM Malva, it blooms so profusely for the longest of seasons and self sows but it not a nuisance.
It is easy on water and in the family of HH, but does not get weedy looking like they do. Mine stays green pretty much till February and then looks a bit cruddy for 2 months and comes back again, some stayed evergreen. It got down to 15 deg or so this year several times.
