We took in a Blue Heeler aka Austrailan Cattle dog because the parents were beating her up and the owner didn't stop it. She is a 10 wk old female, DOB 3/1/11. We love her and would love to keep her but we are jobless and have 3 dogs of our own to feed.
She's awesome! Very sweet and wants to be with you every second. That is part of their personality if you read up on it. She loves the pond too. Being that she is highly intelligent, she needs a responsible home and constant supervision. Very active and loves kids. The cats don't feel threatened by her either. She's a sweetheart. I would love to keep her if I could but it would be very unrealistic to think we can.
