This corner bed is my birthday present from hubby. I have daylilies, salvias, pentas, zinnas, butterfly bush, coneflowers and a few other things. Definitely a work in progress.
My birthday present from hubby
Absolutely Beautiful!!!
How wonderful! What a pretty birthday present!
Great bd present ....hubby did good!! Look forward to seeing it develop, keep pictures coming.
Yes, we would love to see the progress.
How beautiful! I love seeing pictures and getting new ideas. Great mix of flowers and doo-dads! I love decorative garden doo-dads! Did he make the birdhouses? Adorable!
thank you all! I will be sure to take pics as it develops. he didn't make the birdhouses, but, he has made many in the past. we have only been in our new house a little over 2 years and we left the other ones at our other place. he makes great rustic birdhouses and feeders. he doesn't have a shop set up here yet...hopefully soon!
How sweet! You are lucky to have a talented and thoughtful guy.
Now that's what I call a real birthday present !!! Beautiful.
thank y'all! yes....he is a keeper for sure :0)
that man doesn't have time to do all that has to be done, lol. he has a demanding full time job managing a local chemical plant...he pastors a small, country baptist church and he is a paw paw to 3 boys. I have a list a mile long of things that we need to get done for our place and he keeps saying "I can do it" when I say something about hiring the jobs out.. He does love to work with his hands outside.
yes it does!
That is just flat beautiful ..My planting always look like Johny appleseed on meth came by and flung seed every where ..Good thing I grow a lot of stuff with big leaves helps hide my bad judgement
HA HA HA. love your description. most often, mine ends up looking like that too, lol. but, you know what they say...every now and then even a blind hog finds an acorn, so every now and then my plantings happen to look somewhat good!
Grits that is just too funny!! About the way I feel about mine too. I was on another thread earlier and described mine like a roller coaster effect; but you really captured the description.
Be sure to tell your husband to add this little endeavor to one of his sermons as an illustration on showing love to your wife!
hee hee hee...I am sure he will manage to work it in somewhere!
Its just beautiful so far. Happy Belated Birthday!
thanks Terri!
