Checking on our NTx folks this stormy night

Dallas, TX

Is everyone out there ok? Family and friends ok?

Grapevine, TX(Zone 8a)

Spent about a half hour in the guest bathroom with my family and cats, but everything is fine now. A little hail, but nothing damaging. I can hear more thunder approaching now, so we'll see what's coming...

Colleyville, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes...so far ok although another line coming through. I was in the closet below the stairs with the dogs and pillows from the sofa. Wow, it was hot and one of the pillows needs cleaning, phew...I think there is cat pee on it.

Colleyville, TX(Zone 8a)

Just a reminder...one of my friend has a brother whose whole house was lifted in Joplin. Luckily he had his phone and wallet in his pocket...Remember to put your shoes on too

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

We are o.k. thank God, some hail and high winds, we also went in the bathroom with the pets.

Cleburne, TX(Zone 8a)

Glad y'all are all okay. I'm almost afraid to turn on the TV and see what happened in Oklahoma.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

We got small hail and only 1/2 inch of rain here. I was on facebook with two classmates up in OK city area and it got very scary there, but they made it fine.

We're fine. Just tired from a looong night.
Hope everyone else's garden faired as well.

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Glad to hear everyone is fine. We have not had rain here in probably 6 months. They are saying something big is going to happen. Not looking forward to Hurricane season. Stay safe my friends.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Fine here, too. We just got some small hail, lots of wind, and heavy rains. I have a friend who lives up in Saginaw and she took a pic of the tornado that was near her. Yikes! She's fine, though. The storms this year remind me of the spring storms back in about 2001 or 2002. Very active and very big.
