Disease or defficiency?

Dolan Springs, AZ(Zone 9a)

These are volunteers from the compost, I'm not sure if they are melon or squash. I have some in another pot, and they are normal looking. Can anyone diagnose this discoloration for me?

Normal for many types of zucchini.

Oh! Well, good! ^_^

Could be powdery mildew though... I use a milk/water mist on mine when they do that.

Thanks cinski-I've never heard of using milk to kill mildew!

Zucchini!! I think it produces beautiful shading and silvering on the leaves. Mine are very healthy, and show no disease. Even the squash bugs are healthy.. ;)
