I have a hard time telling the Common from the Lesser...

Still in Big Bend Natl Park area.

most likely Common. Wing tip more pointed than rounded and white wing bar closer toward middle than the tip of wing

Yep, Common - note the pointed wingtips (more rounded in Lesser) and white / grey-white belly (buffy in Lesser)
