CLOSED: This one showed up a week ago.

I took the photo yesterday. Did not see it today. Have not seen one before. A little larger than a finch. Thanks for the help. It is in the top level of the Koi pond waterfall.

Wow, you guys are good. Looking it up, this little guy was lost. Was either heading for Southern California or New Mexico and some how ended up in my back landscape.

All by himself but we do have lots of gnats in the greenbelt by the grass bowl drain just before sundown and then I leave bananas to rot to attract gnats for the hummers. I also have tree cover and the Koi pond to cool off and take a bath. I would stop here also if I was a bird.
