Contest update

Hey ya'll, I have been negligent of this corner of our community during the past week, while I've been extremely busy with a lot of other priorities.

I'm sorry that I have not yet answered the mails from the folks E-mailing me, asking for information about the contest. The number 1 question everyone had is:

Should they upload their pictures for the contest again to this forum?

The answer is no. Don't put your contest pictures on this forum, as soon we will have a new place for them.

Today I finished a VERY big job on my TODO that took almost 95% of my time this week. That's finally done, and I'm able to relax and breath a little bit, and get back to my regular TODO. High on the TODO is getting the contest lined up and moving along!

So, there's the status update. I'll be turning my attention to the contest very soon and hopefully very VERY soon we will have a place to upload our contest photos.

I'm fairly new to your site and have seen posts from time to time about the contest. I'm not familiar with what people are talking about. Is there someplace to go on this site that I can become informed? I'm not into brugs like a lot of people, but have my share and would love to learn more about them.

There isn't any place for me to direct you to for information on this, but the short answer is: We're going to have a photography contest for growers of Daturas and Brugmansias. The members will compete with their best photographs of their most beautiful and interesting specimens, and prizes will be given to the winners! It's going to be a fun game.

I'll be working with tiG and Zanymuse to nail down specifics on how we'll be doing this. It's coming soon!

I'll be looking forward to seeing the photos and while I'm on here......thanks for putting this site up for us. It is great and I'm glad I joined and paid my dues. I hope everything works out so the site will remain.
