I honestly can't remember what was planted where these came up.
They appear to be healthy, growing, and obviously multiplied over the winter(s).
If I know me, I planted them after the season was over and am lucky they EVER came up....

ok! leaves fully unfurled now... i have yet to see a canna like this; of course we won't know the color or variety until we see blooms. i had never seen canna BULBS like that, nor do i recall them ever started out like that (leaves wrapped around the stalk, etc.). just odd, but here they are!
... just had an 'ah ha moment' !! my friend had given me a start of her cannas (yellow with orange spots or vice versa). i forgot all about them, and they were in a walmart bag most of last year. when i found them this spring, i hurried and put them in the ground, cutting off all the dead foliage (b/c some of the bulbs still seemed viable). voile!!!
