Since it rained all day yesterday, I went through some pictures from the past 2 weeks.
These are all from my shady woodland, blooming now.
Here's thalictrum ichangense Evening Star.
A low-growing thalictrum, not the usual 4-footer.
Late spring woodland
There may be some of you out there that can relate to this one.
I sometimes can't help myself trying something I know full well isn't going to work.
I'll enjoy this one as an annual, because I doubt it will survive once summer hits.
It's meconopsis x sheldonii.
Supposedly the most heat-tolerant of the blue poppies.
We'll see how he enjoys our summers...
