I have a lot of the Clementine columbine (Red, Purple, Pink) and the Nora Barlows also. but I am ready to pitch them all. they have been curled up and gnarly for three years, and the leafs look weird. I know about the little green worms that leave a trail on the leaves, but I think this is something that is attacking from the roots. Any suggestions?

this is a closeup of the leaves. Any suggestions on treatment in addition to what is causing this?

Wow, how very strange! I've never seen anything like it! I wonder if there is an ID forum on here for things like that. I know there are places you can post pictures of plants, birds, insects, etc. to try to get an ID. If I find a place, I'll let you know!

OK, that was quick. :) Looked at the list of all the forums, and there is one for Garden Pests and Diseases. Try posting your pictures there, and see if anyone knows what is going on!
