Help Identifying plant

I bought this at an herb fair and can't remember what it is. It smells awful, so I'm about ready to pitch it. Should I plant it further from my porch instead? Might it be an insect repellant?

Looks like woad, a dye plant.

Since you said it smelled awful, I though maybe it was pelargonium, but the leaves aren't like geraniums. I had one that was supposed to repel mosquitos, but it smelled so awful, I was the one who was repelled and I did wind up throwing it out. When a plant looks as happy as yours, it's hard to throw it out even if it does stink.

Pamgarden - I know what you mean. It has taken years for me to stop trying to save every plant in my garden. It's so small, I had to finally resign myself to it.
