Does anyone know of any native plant sales still scheduled for this spring in the DFW area? I think I have missed them all.

Native Plant Sales?
Maybe so Cheryl, but with the seed swap and the RU I am sure you got plenty of new plants.
We are planing to have a sale in September at the greenhouse for the Wildscape, I will announce it as we get closer.
Josephine.
True, but there are some plants that I am looking for that are hard to find.
In my former "obsession," the saying was, "Never too many quilts." I think with Cheryl it is, "Never too many plants." ROFL.
Now Glenna you do not know how many plants I actually have...and I don't want "more" plants, I want a few very specific species.
Which species are you looking for? I'm always on the lookout for good native plants...
The Texas Discovery Gardens in Fair Park is having their annual Spring Butterfly Plant Sale on May 21st (member preview on the 20th). I help them with a few of their plant selections and their Director of Horticulture is very much into natives. At any rate, among the rarer plants they're offering are several different species of native milkweeds to the north Texas area -- Antelope Horns (Asclepias asperula), Side Cluster milkweed (Asclepias oenotheroides), Green Milkweed (Asclepias viridis) and a couple of others from west Texas. Not to mention other hard-to-find natives. Check out the plant list on their website: http://texasdiscoverygardens.org/plant_sale.php I'll be there working the sale -- which is usually a madhouse, but lots of fun.

I wil check it out. Thanks.

Dale beat me to it. I keep a list at the top of the TX Gardening thread and that one was on it; as well as another place you might get info.

This might be a little late, but the Calloways stores in Dallas, Plano, Ft Worth, and Flower Mound are having a native plant sale
tomorrow if you're feeling like driving a little bit.
Here's a link to some info: http://www.calloways.com/native-plant-day

That's good information, thanks Brandon.
