clusters of blooms on pomegranate tree

Brazoria, TX(Zone 9b)

My pomegranate tree is a sharp velvet and is about 4 years old and did produce a couple of fruit last year. This year the tree has about 2 dozen blooms on it in clusters. Should I remove all but one bloom or leave the clusters. Some of them have as many as 4 blooms on the cluster. Fruit has already started developing.

You dont have to thin but you will get smaller fruit if you dont.
One fruit per cluster should be fine but you can experiment with two per cluster and see what the size difference between those and the single fruit clusters.

Think I will leave 2 clusters and see what the difference will be. Thank you

University of Tennessee recommends spacing fruit 6-8 inches apart on the branch.
