My guess is, if it is getting dry enough to be wilted, the soil is completely dry and when you water it, it is getting just enough to perk back up temporarily, but not completely saturated. When it wilts, try putting it in the sink of water and letting it stay there for 10-15 minutes. Its kinda hard to over water a hibiscus, I water mine everyday, but they are outside. Maybe a bigger pot would help also, will help to hold more moisture.

That pot looks awfully small, I think it's probably rootbound and when that happens there's not enough soil in the pot to hold enough moisture for all those roots so it'll wilt very easily. I'd repot it into something larger and that ought to help.

Thanks, guys! Makes perfect sense. It did the exact same thing again this morning, and I did soak it in the sink this time. But I will go ahead and repot it in a 6" pot in a week or so, when its had time to recover from its "ordeal." Thank you so much.
