I don't know if this photo shows enough detail for an ID. It is as good as my lens will get at such a far distance. There were three of these hawks circling overhead at one time this morning. First time we've seen them this year.
Then this afternoon this one was in the tall trees in the area above our barnyard where we have so many bluebird juveniles. Hopefully, the BBs can hide in all the oak trees.
