Picked this aroid up this weekend. Was told that it was Sauromatum (Typhonium) guttatum but I know it's not. Searching around I found 2 possibilities. Typhonium roxburghii or T. trilobatum. There is a spathe emerging which should shed a little more light on the ID but until then, any idea on which? Thanks!
What have I got?
That is definitely Typhonium trilobatum. I am intimately familiar with the plant as I started hybridizing with it last year. I have several specimens blooming at this time - the blooms have a distinct, well, aroma - you'll smell if you haven't already had experience with it!

Aroidia Research
Thanks, LariAnn. Knew you would come through. What had me confused is that with every picture I found of trilobatum the center portion of the leaf was pointed whereas mine is very rounded. Haven't smelled it yet but read it described as smelling like old rat urine. :-p Sure I'll be tempted to take a whiff. :-)
