Trim and tansplant

(Mary) Poway, CA(Zone 10a)

I only have a few brugs left. I gave most of mine away to a friend with a deep well, when they started the water restrictions here. Just had to dig Creamsickle out from next to the house because we're going to have the house tented for termites, and the word is that tenting kills anything it touches. Man those roots were fat and deep. So I've trimmed the roots and trimmed down the bush itself and moved it to an area that will be safe from the termite spray.

Autumn Treasure looking wilted after it's transplant shock. It's a tough Brug, so I have every confidence that it'll snap back ... but I'll probably lose those blooms.

Glad to hear that you kept Creamsickle. She is one of my favorites.

Wow, that has to be so hard to remove them and put them in little pots like that. I am amazed at the width of the stems (should I say trunks?) on your brugs. Very nice.
Good luck with your termite control. I went through that with a previous house. What a pain in the nether regions.
I get two flushes a year in this climate if I am lucky. To see you have to dig them up with blooms on them, knowing they will wither. Oh my!
