Isn't this a California Bay because of it's characteristic elongated leaf? If so, it should not be illustrated here as a Sweet Bay.

I googled it and more Sweet Bay, Bay Leaf, Bayleaf Laurus nobilis look like my images.
I am not in the habit of posting the wrong images, as I am a UBER.

I agree with DaylilySLP, the image posted is definitely a Laurus nobilis. Umbellularia californica has much narrower leaves that are medium green in color. Laurus nobilis leaves are also obvate but not nearly as long as long as U. californica, and they are a darker shade of green. Here is an image of one of my own Umbellaria californica for comparison:
