I have people coming in tomorrow who want to go to a Chinese buffet. Can any of you give me any ideas for good ones in the Dallas area?

The China Harbor on Cooper in Arlington has everything.
Thank you so much. I did not see your response in time, so we ended up going to the NewNew Buffet in Addison. It was clean and there was a lot to select from. Some things were very good and some things not so good. The next time, I will take them to China Harbor if they want Chinese.
REVIEW; On Mothers Day
I happened to see this thread and told my son about it.
We go often to Arlingtin and my husband only likes to
go to buffets so he can "get his moneys' worth " and
I always want something that tastes really great ot not eat there at all...
So ir is hard to agree on a place.
But son insisted we go for Mothers Day & ALL
of us agreed that this place is a winner !
Lots of choices - huge salad bar, fresh seafood
including [i;es of shrimp fried or in theit shell.
oysters on half shelll frog legs, and crab cakes.
I am not a fan of crab but was surprised that
the cakes were delicious !!
They had sushi and Son said it was very good
and much better than average buffet sushi.
The Rock Star was the steak
It was grilled and then sliced and
covered wirh a warm savory
sauce/gravy.
They also have 15 flavoes of
ice cream amd the ice cream
area was a mob scene.
Downside fior me was the hot and
sour soup which was not hot
or sour enouugh.
We weent late and it WAS
Mothers Day after all -- so
it was packed and all ages were
present - including groups of
teenagers with no moins in
sight, church ladies and
fanilies wth infants to teens.
All of our group agreed that
this place is a keeper bur
we agreed that we shiould
go at less busy days and
times than lunch time on
Mothers Day.

You are welcome, we went there today too and it was also very busy but great.
My favorite is the boiled shrimp in the shell, the baked salmon fried zuckini and the tempura vegetables, and i love the fried bananas with ice cream.
I am glad you enjoyed it.
