I'm in Humble this weekend at my daughters or course I am workin in her flower beds lol
this vine is growing in a number of places and I think it is the trumpet vine but not sure can someone help me so I know if I want to dig it out or leave it

Is the place its growing a large area? I found that vine the most aggressive plant I ever tried to grow. Just a warning. The bees love it and so do hummers but man it goes everywhere.
Definitely.. nasty stuff.. I have been fighting it for years. It grows in my yard constantly. I have made a mix of weed, vegitation killer I use on new growth to keep it in control. It was fine with one plant growing until the neighbors planted two more plants.. next thing we knew, we had them growing EVERYWHERE! It has been a fight for the last 20 years. I just had to have my plumbing redone in the bathroom from roots of that darn plant!
well I'm not growing it but my daughter has it at her place in Humble and I dug some out in hopes of clearing some away LOL
Its a beautiful flower and well loved by creatures but I will not grow it in my yard, its way to hard to manage.
