We hadn't had rain in the Rockport area from Nov 1st through almost the end of April . I have new plants that I stopped watering the end of March when we left to come back to Ga .
Can someone update me on if there has been rain this spring ? I know I can't do anything about it , but would like to know .

I live in Portland - just down the road from Rockport. We have had very little rain in April - maybe a stray shower with .10 of an inch of rain along the coast. We have had some unusually cool weather lately, though. It is pretty dry around my house. Xeric plants are doing ok, things that need supplemental water dry out pretty fast.
What do you have planted?

Brand new yard cleared ,and Loquat , magnolia ,Meyer lemon ,hyacinth bean ,maid of orleans jasmin . My lot is high , filled in with sand and drains water right through. I'm out at Holiday Beach ,north of town.
