What do the leaves smell like if you crush one?

Kinda looks like a pecan seedling to me. The squirrels plant them all over at my place.

The leaves when crushed have a really good smell but nothing I have smelled before. The leaves are have a soft fuzzy feel.

The Tree of Heaven I have smelled had a foul pungent smell. This one has a really nice smell.

Pecan smells really nice! Have you ever smelled one before?

Have not ever smelled one but tomorrow where I go usually has seedlings. Going to pick a leaf and compare.

It just seems there are too many leaflets on each leaf for such a small tree, but who knows?

Looking at the stem, it appears to have branched 4 times near the ground. Could it have been run over by the lawn mower? Pecan will branch really close to the ground like that.
