I keep recieving a virus!!

I met a lady here at DG that lives close by me here and we have exchanged a few e/mails, well I recieved a e/mial from her the other day and I opened it and read it with no problem. then there was another one with her name on it that had an attachment with it...called "Matrix Screen Saver" well I hit the D/L button and my Norton stopped it because it was a VIRUS!! well I waited a few days and e/mailed her back and told her that I had recieved the virus thing. well a few days later she sent me another e/mail and there were 2 of them! one of them was in reguards to the one I sent her...but the other one had "no subject" in the subject line, and it had an attachment with it! I didn't open this one though. and so to make a long story shorter, everytime she sends me a e/mail there is another one sent that I feel contains a virus...I mean out of the 3 times we have talked, all 3 times there was another e/mail with an attachment with it.
So here is the question, why is this happening? and who can I notify about this, how do I stop this from sending these to me?? I mean I would like to talk to her more but I am scared to open all her mail.. any idea's??
