Early last fall I planted a Styrax americana. So far, no leaves or even buds have appeared. Have I lost this shrub?
Growing Styrax americana in southeastern Michigan
Don't know much about that plant, but it is too early to give up. Are the twig brittle and black or pliable and green. It it is the later, I'd give it more time.
