Wishing the pics were a bit clearer!

Resin

Melbourne, FL

I would guess Flycatcher family.

Could it be eastern Phoebe? Resin. I shot against the west when the sun is about to set. I'll try again later.

Fredericksburg, VA(Zone 7a)

If that is a bit of yellow under the wings, my guess is Great-crested Flycatcher...

When a picture is a little dark and hard to ideentify, if you put it into Picasa, you can lighten it, and some times then identify it easier.

Willie, thanks for the suggestion. Some of these days I'll need to get Picasa program. You'd never guess, the very same bird came back today. And Va_WR was correct. I've got me a Great Creasted Flycatcher! I'm so thrilled. Thanks all for your help.

BTW, the Yoshino cherry tree is sickly looking. The flood we had back in March finally is taking a toll on the tree! It pains me to lose such a beautiful ornamental tree. The good news is, the bird pix is clear this time.
