Have: named daylilys want birdhouses, pet supplys
Hi Maureen,
Of course I'll vouch for you! What kind of dog do you have? I don't think I ever knew you had one. I got a shepherd/collie mix in Jan, for my birthday. And I still have Sam who is 13 now. We haven't chatted in a while. Let's fix that!
NancyAnn
HI NancyAnn - yes i've had a black lab Lucky for 6 yrs and now a 3 yr old yellow lab Josh who is chewing things like crazy.....grrrrrrrr.......
I figured maybe i can trade some of the excess daylilys for something i can really use:-)
That's great that you have 2 dogs too! Would love to see pics of the new one.

Nikko sounds like Josh. Maybe we should get them together so they can chew on each other. LOL Nikko has eaten several throw pillows, my leather sectional, the cushions from 4 of my patio chairs, a nice end table, my baseboards. And today I discovered that he's started on the porch chair cushions! I bought him lots of stuffed animals to destroy, but does he do that??? Oh NO! Those are HIS toys; they're too precious; he drags thems around and sleeps with them. So my "toys" are for destruction. I even give him lots of rawhide bones, which he loves to chew. But playtime means something of mine must die. LOL
Do you have ponds? Do the labs go swimming in them? Nikko loves my ponds and I can't keep the rascal out. (Maybe he's part lab too!). He keeps pulling out the floating plants and lying them on the rock edge. Then he drags out the parted water lilies and other plants and does his best to dump the plants out so he can chew up the pots. He's such a rascal, but oh so cute! I bet you feel the same way about Lucky and Josh, don't you. Do you find it hard to tell them NO?
I have so much trouble scolding this cute little face--
Butterfly_Chaser - invest in LOTS of bitter apple spray. Of course, you need to start that early for best effect, but eventually they'll develop an aversion to wherever it's sprayed. Our golden puppy liked the baseboards, drywall, kitchen cabinets.. :)
Another idea is a kong full of peanut butter and kibble. Keeps their mouths busy and their minds. :)
Maureen, are you looking for specific flea stuff?
Thanks Careyana. Where can I get the bitter apple? Walmart? I love the little guy, but he's beginning to step on my nerves. LOL
They should, if not something with a similar purpose. It does smell awful but it works well. :)
Maureen, I need to check our supplies and I will let you know!
What special daylilies do you have? I have a rating of over 140 on the Daylily Auction with no negative feedback since I have been on there. I have a lot of newer daylilies from Stamile, Trimmer, Salter, Mondron, and others.
Thanks,
Dick Henley
Baltimore, Oh.
HI, i had pineapple moon and Shores of Time but traded all but 2 fans.......and the seedlings i had were offered in trade already.
HI Mudelf - thank you for the kind offer..i just got finished with a hosta swap and one more hosta trade committed to ship this weekend...so i don't have any more extras now to trade - but thank you for the offer.
