CLOSED: ID please - some type of Swallow?

Fredericksburg, VA(Zone 7a)

Found eating bugs on a sandbar, and flying around with other birds.

Similar body style and flight pattern to a Tree Swallow. The overall tan coloring is really throwing me though!

Thanks in advance!

Possibly Northern Rough Winged Swallow. Please get confirmation from some others before running with this ID:)

Ditto to Northern Rough-winged Swallow

You think so, more than the Bank Swallow? I was looking through some books after I posted this last night... but I did not see the Northern Rough-winged admittedly.

This was along the Potomac River in Virginia, so I just wanted to be sure about their range.

Yes, it's within range and no distinct white chin & throat.

Thank you!
