I recently visited the tulip and daffodil fields in Skagit Valley, WA. Due to a late and cold Spring, the tulips were just beginning to bloom and the gray skies made for some less than stellar light for photography. Still, it was a worthwhile experience, and a beautiful sight. Here are a few pics....
Bulb Fields in Skagit Valley
I'm not able to post additional pics at this time...after a long time loading I get kicked out to the general garden forums page. Very odd. I'll try again later.
Hmmm....I'm having trouble once again. If anyone would like to check out additional pics of the bulbs and the rest of my trip (snow geese, eagles, etc), here's a slideshow: http://35mmmacro.smugmug.com/Nature/Bellingham-area/16763027_mfTpMG

Oh my, all those bulbs. So many flowers blooming. I have never seen so many growing outside of pictures from Holland.
Thanks faeden...it seemed to be intermittent yesterday, and it appears I was the only one with this issue. If I run across it again, I'll definitely let admin know.
Newyorkrita, it was quite a sight. I wish I'd visited when they were at their peak, as I'm sure it is even more spectacular when all the fields are in bloom. :-)
