I have about twenty epiphyllum plants that I started from a packet of seeds early in January 2003. Up until today I have not had any blooms but this one opened today, just in time for my big family dinner. There are many smaller buds on the plant too.
There are three other plants in the group that have buds as well.
I came very close to throwing them all out last summer but in the end I just couldn't bear to do it.

Thank you Sharon. I bought the seeds from Thompson & Morgan Seed company. I have not seen them in that catalogue lately, but I have seen them offered on Ebay.
