Melva speaking of new breeds. I just acquired twenty Dutch Bantam Silkies, and two adult hens, and two adult roosters. I also acquired nine Red American Silkies, they also are babies (Two Weeks old) I will be picking them up next Saturday. The lady was going to focus only on Seramas so she sold all she had left for a hundred fifty bucks. Their are only an estimated three to four hundred Dutch Bantam Silkies is the entire U. S. A. so quite rare still...Hay

Haystack that is awesome that you got all those Dutch Silkies.. (I just call them that to keep from confusing them with Dutch Bantams)
I'm excited to see pics of them! I love that they can actually see! The biggest plus of all.

I told you you'd get red white and blue! You just need a couple white silkies and you will be complete! :)

That is so funny ZZ's I just received a call from a lady, she is going to donate a one year old black rooster Silkie, and a one year old white Silkie hen. Lordy I hadn't planned on this but am excited about it...I'm never giving up my Seramas though, no, no, never...I still have not been able to find a pic of an adult Dutch Silkie.

Thanks Green, I'm pretty excited about it also, but not sure what I've gotten myself into...LOL...Hay

I think the Dutch Silkies have smaller top-knots, but they should be similar.
