Can someone please tell me if fescue grass cut right from my yard is safe to feed my guinea pig? There are no chemicals or fertilizers on the grass and it has no bugs present. I gave her some the other day and she just scarfed it right up! I'm wondering if I can just substitute this grass for the usual timothy hay I feed her which is expensive! Thanks for any advise you can give.
