St. Helena, SC – Noahs Arks Rescue has issued a plea –please help find Lucy, a beautiful 5 month-old Dachshund that disappeared on April 8 from a boarding facility.
The rescue is helping the family of the lost dog – hoping to reach out to their followers and beyond…the more eyes searching, the more people aware – the better Lucy’s chances of being found.
Lucy was boarded at a facility from 4/3 to 4/8. On April 8, her family received a disturbing message – Lucy had disappeared.
The facility suggested that perhaps a Hawk had taken her, but there is suspicion that she may have been sold.
Regardless of what happened – Lucy’s family is distraught – and they are desperate to have her home again.
A $2000 reward is being offered for Lucy’s safe return. Specifics on this situation are as follows:
Lucy is uniquely colored and should be easy to identify by her coat and eyes – her left eye is blue and her right eye is brown.
Lucy disappeared around 10:30 am on 4/8/11 from a fenced yard on Old Polowana Road and Sea Island Parkway.
Anyone with information is asked to email Lucy’s owners at davidbowsjr@yahoo.com or Noahs Arks Rescue at noahsarksrescue@mac.com.
According to Noahs Arks Rescue, the boarding facility that was caring for Lucy is now under investigation (name not released).
Please circulate this information – if Lucy was stolen, she could be anywhere.
Help get her face and information to as many people as possible – help get this sweet girl back home to her family. Thank you.
