Questions....need an answer quick.

Since we're making Apple butter tonight, can the baby chickens & ducks have apple peels?

I see no reason why they can't, might just be they would like a little apple butter also. The only fruit I won't give the chickens is anything citrus. The acid is way to strong for their tummies. I actually had a hen that died from pineapple juice...Hay

I thought they might like it too..My peeler makes long skinny strips and I thought perfect for them to play with. I think the chicks are about 3 weeks & the ducks are probable 2 at the most 3 weeks??
I figure if they can peck at the pine shavings ~ apples would be an improvemnet.
