This leaf was labeled 'Bright Yellow Star'.
I find nothing on that name and have forgotten where I got the leaf (whether in trade, or purchased).
This photo is pretty accurate except the color is a deeper royal shade of burgundy (my description)
When I saw first bloom I chalked it up to obvious mislabel, I thought I would get a yellow star blossom.
Now that a 2nd set of blossoms are forming I suddenly realize the 'Bright Yellow Star' could allude to the brilliant yellow stamen.
Can any body shed light on my beautiful flower?
Bright Yellow Star
Sorry,I'm not sure Lane. Can you post a picture of the whole plant?

It's really difficult, almost impossible sometimes, to identify a mislabeled violet, but I will try my best and let you know what I come up with.
