Saw this hawk at Old River about 30 miles east of Houston, Texas. It's a good sized river and the banks are pretty woodsy.

Thanks y'all! Right after Ned posted, a more knowledgable friend posted a pic of a hawk that was almost identical and labeled it as Swainson's. It's nice to have the confirmation though especially since we were unsure of my other two Swainsons possibilities.
