Understand all the mess you guys are having at home. I ran across Wyoming to Salt Lake City then down thru Las Vegas into Los Angeles, the winds here are hi enuff to make us park for evening to run. 70mph gusts funneling into hi profile vehicles. Plants perk up at nite, it is as if they draw their resources back into their roots and wait, sand scours the windshield glass on my truck til I have an opaque windshield, deep water and mulch, living mulch like purslane or clovers, or hydro mulch, or pine needles, water in the morning, or late evening. It is very beautiful here today in San Diego, my oldest grandson has his boot camp behind him now, and I AM proud of the little knothead, flowers are blooming and cactus and concrete start to make sense with the area...
Hi winds, snow, hail, prairie fires and rainin mud
Hey Kat --- wave to my son while in San Diego -- he'll be on the Navy base.
We'll tie ourselves to the ground around here, winds have been above 60 all day. . . so waiting for calmness and moisture. Had some major fires in the area, lost some homes. Not good! Very thankful we were north side of these north winds.
Be careful on those windy roads.
San Diego news reporting all the fires in Tx today, and a twister in Nowata, Ok, was worried abt you guys for sure. Lots of waves to these boys, tears, handshakes, they proud, chuckle, they proud. I am proud of them. Saw lots of tears, handshakes, sunburned mamas. Two boys were honor guard? from Texas, Leander, and Tyler, of 6 platoons graduating, am aggravating my dad this weekend
