Who Needs a Bird Bath?

When there is a lake right out here? I couldn't resist giving this thread some 'captions'. Brown Thrasher grooming/preening itself after a lake-bath.

Thanks Pelle and Margaret, they're really are Margaret. I've set up various birdbath for 'em all around the garden. But this is where they camp out. Go figure!

Birds can be weird. I have that lovely pond and the chickadees still refuse to drink from it, opting instead for any collected rain water sitting around.
