Racoons

Any advice on keeping raccoons from destroying my bromeliads? Help? Jkt

They are nasty! The only idea I have would be to get some Hechtias, Puyas, or Bromelias. They all have very nasty spines but I'm not sure even they would be much or a deterrence.

We had several raccoons who destroyed the birdfeeders. I got a have- a-heart trap and was successful getting a big one. He was in the trap over night and until the early afternoon of the next day. My nephew came for the trap and relocated the coon many miles away.
This coon was furious! He would grab for Jason's shorts and pull them into the cage, scratch and try to bite him. And the smell was awful since scat was everywhere!
Apparently his friends watched the show-no more midnight raids for us!!! A blessing.
